Welcome to the New School Financial Services Data Warehouse!

The SFS Data Warehouse gathers finance data about Wisconsin's school districts into a place where it’s easy to find and easy to understand. As educators, school boards, and policymakers strive to effectively utilize resources in support of student outcomes, understanding financial data and related trends can be a powerful tool to inform decision-making.

DATA AVAILABILITY

Data in the SFS Warehouse is considered audited and finalized. For this reason, users may notice a delay between the end of the fiscal year and when that data appears in the Warehouse. For example, Comparative Cost and Comparative Revenue from the fiscal year ended June 30, 2014 (2013-14 data) will be finalized in Spring 2015 after all desk audits of district-submitted 2013-14 Annual Reports are completed. Data will be loaded as soon as it becomes available. The following is a list of data elements and expected completion timelines:

  • - 2013-14 Comparative Cost/Comparative Revenue - Spring 2015.
  • - 2014-15 October 15 Aid Certification - Fall 2014 (already in Warehouse).
  • - 2014-15 Levy Certification - Fall 2014 (already in Warehouse).
  • - 2014-15 Final Revenue Limit Information - May 2015.
  • - 2014-15 State Aid Payments to School Districts - Summer 2015.
