Brief Description: School District of Solon Springs Resolution for Revenue Limit Exemption for Energy Efficiencies At this the Regular Meeting of the Board of Education on Monday, October 19, 2009, be it resolved that the School District of Solon Springs is exercising its taxing authority under s. 121.91 (4) (o), Wis. Stats. to exceed the revenue limit on a non-recurring basis by an amount the district will spend on new energy efficiency measures for the 2009-10 school year. The amount to be levied and expended is $32,821. The board has identified the following required performance indicators (supplied by Focus on Energy consultants) that will measure the energy savings and/or energy cost avoidance in an amount equal to the exemption request and will include a timeline: The district proposes to remove four separate freezer units and two cooler units two of which date to 1960 and replace these seven units with one walk in freezer and one walk in cooler unit.
