Baldwin-Woodville Area (0231) | 6/4 to 8/28 | 58 | 1363 | 2,579,405 | 53 | 100 | Student enrollment dropped and we shortened our class times. | Bangor (0245) | 6/16 to 7/3 | 14 | 403 | 845,020 | 17 | 14 | | Baraboo (0280) | 6/16 to 8/14 | 27 | 493 | 1,211,400 | 25 | 29 | | Barneveld (0287) | 6/9 to 8/18 | 52 | 197 | 827,757 | 17 | 9 | The notable increase in our summer school numbers this year can likely be attributed to several key programmatic additions and enhancements. First, we expanded our offerings beyond the traditional two-week summer school period by including band camps, private band lessons, and several enrichment classes led by Mr. Anderson. These additions attracted a wider range of students and extended participation throughout the summer.
Additionally, we had significantly more student mentors involved this year. Their presence not only provided valuable support for younger students but also helped increase overall engagement and attendance.
These factors combined to create a more robust and appealing summer program, resulting in higher enrollment and participation rates than in previous years. | Barron Area (0308) | 6/9 to 8/28 | 36 | 1011 | 2,621,062 | 54 | 35 | We added three days of summer interim session. | Bayfield (0315) | 6/23 to 8/29 | 19 | 148 | 263,623 | 5 | 7 | | Beaver Dam (0336) | 6/9 to 8/8 | 36 | 611 | 4,871,035 | 100 | 79 | | Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine (4263) | 6/2 to 7/23 | 38 | 58 | 153,547 | 3 | 2 | There was overall greater attendance this year with an additional 22 students over last years numbers. We were also able to offer three additional courses for summer session that were well attended including Driver's Education. | Belleville (0350) | 6/9 to 8/24 | 50 | 567 | 1,948,362 | 40 | 40 | | Belmont Community (0364) | 6/9 to 8/14 | 40 | 291 | 684,675 | 14 | 12 | | Beloit (0413) | 6/24 to 7/31 | 25 | 913 | 4,780,651 | 98 | 101 | | Beloit Turner (0422) | 6/9 to 8/29 | 59 | 710 | 2,501,187 | 51 | 45 | | Benton (0427) | 6/3 to 8/31 | 38 | 169 | 391,755 | 8 | 7 | | Berlin Area (0434) | 6/9 to 8/29 | 17 | 777 | 1,514,098 | 31 | 38 | | Big Foot UHS (6013) | 6/9 to 7/25 | 34 | 149 | 260,882 | 5 | 4 | | Birchwood (0441) | 6/16 to 8/1 | 30 | 58 | 233,646 | 5 | 7 | | Black Hawk (2240) | 6/2 to 8/28 | 50 | 203 | 613,032 | 13 | 9 | Last year, we were in the middle of construction and held the summer school in the midst of the process during July and August (the middle of summer, inconvenient for parents to schedule daycare), which caused the enrollment to decrease drastically. We also did not hold the 2 Summer2School days right before school, which also caused a decrease. | Black River Falls (0476) | 6/9 to 8/28 | 47 | 755 | 1,761,755 | 36 | 60 | The attendance in our 3 jump start days was down considerably from last year. | Blair-Taylor (0485) | 6/16 to 8/29 | 38 | 555 | 1,291,020 | 27 | 30 | | Bloomer (0497) | 6/11 to 8/14 | 46 | 533 | 2,020,955 | 42 | 39 | | Bonduel (0602) | 6/9 to 7/11 | 23 | 4260 | 1,451,185 | 30 | 28 | | Boscobel (0609) | 6/2 to 8/29 | 63 | 312 | 1,098,015 | 23 | 18 | | Bowler (0623) | 6/16 to 7/17 | 20 | 71 | 318,555 | 7 | 8 | | Boyceville Community (0637) | 6/16 to 8/29 | 18 | 464 | 272,685 | 6 | 10 | Our Summer School/Kids program at the Elementary was run through our Community Ed department this year. | Brillion (0658) | 6/9 to 8/22 | 54 | 460 | 1,550,145 | 32 | 33 | | Bristol #1 (0665) | 6/16 to 8/25 | 45 | 127 | 315,660 | 6 | 6 | | Brodhead (0700) | 6/9 to 8/29 | 20 | 635 | 1,773,980 | 37 | 38 | | Brown Deer (0721) | 6/16 to 7/18 | 19 | 278 | 1,105,680 | 23 | 18 | | Bruce (0735) | 6/16 to 8/14 | 16 | 157 | 193,690 | 4 | 6 | | Burlington Area (0777) | 6/9 to 7/10 | 19 | 229 | 927,965 | 19 | 19

Additionally, there were no school-wide field trips, no district-wide "jump start days" in August and no 4k program for incoming students. These reductions were the result of scheduling, staffing and program planning adjustments, wich collectively decreased the overal instructional time. | Freedom Area (1953) | 6/9 to 7/31 | 30 | 582 | 1,576,930 | 32 | 28

In the summer of 2025, we began to offer more variety of sessions, such as the Summer Strength and Conditioning, which brought many more students into summer school. We also extended band lessons to middle school students, which also brought more students to summer school. Lastly, due to the construction, the regular school year ended very early, which led more families to choose summer school for their children to try to beat the summer slide. | Rosholt (4963) | 6/9 to 7/24 | 24 | 118 | 301,408 | 6 | 6 | | Royall (1673) | 6/9 to 8/3 | 40 | 210 | 523,283 | 11 | 12
