Saint Croix Central (2422) | | 1,862 | | | Saint Croix Falls (5019) | | 1,299 | | | Saint Francis (5026) | | 1,396 | | | Salem (5068) | 1,161 | | | | Sauk Prairie (5100) | | 3,689 | | The previous District Registrar did not include the number of graduated students who are 18-20 years old in our community in the FY 2017-18 School Census data. I have her notes as to who she included and none of the numbers used in the final tally for FY 2017-18 include this older population. Without including the 18-20 population in our district our School Census data was previously underreported by approximately 564 residents. While the previous District Registrar did include data to represent the resident pupils who chose to enroll in either of two parochial schools within our district she did not create new student records as new students enrolled in the parochial schools nor did she maintain the existing student records for those entities if a student left during the 2017-18 or 2018-19 school years. By not properly maintaining this student data our district’s data was additionally underreported by 30 students. The increase for FY 2018-19 is due to accurate and complete data being reported. When only looking at the % difference between this year’s submission and the one before it you will find a large increase; however when taking into account the data from FY 2013-2017 and the improved quality of data the difference of adding 616 students drops to truly adding 89 over the span of the past 3 years.
