For this year, we introduced enrichment offerings aligned to general curriculum provided during the regular school year. In making this change, we saw a significant increase in student enrollment at primarily the elementary and middle levels. We continued online learning options for middle and high school students and these students are only counted for their time in desks at the school for this report. For the first time, we also included "Where Everyone Belongs" and Link Crew summer transition programs as part of our summer school programming. For these programs, a large portion of students attended. Finally, we added more days of instruction for the 2014 program than previously offered in our first two years with a program. | Barneveld (0287) | June102014 to August262014 | 42 | 267 | 616,560 | 13 | 7 | Last year we did not have swimming lessons, which usually gives us about 65,000 minutes. We also offered a new gardening class that had 33 students that brought in almost 68,000 minutes. Attendance in remedial classes, and Successful middle school were also much higher than last summer. | Barron Area (0308) | 6/9 to 8/15 | 65 | 701 | 1,690,588 | 35 | 43 | | Bayfield (0315) | 6/13 to 8/19 | 26 | 126 | 258,960 | 5 | 8 | | Beaver Dam (0336) | 6/24 to 8/15 | 53 | 2394 | 3,819,397 | 79 | 77 | | Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine (4263) | 6/9 to 8/21 | 27 | 27 | 76,505 | 2 | 2 | | Belleville (0350) | 6/11 to 8/22 | 51 | 609 | 2,381,855 | 49 | 42 | | Belmont Community (0364) | 6/9 to 8/8 | 44 | 165 | 476,431 | 10 | 8 | | Beloit (0413) | 6/16 to 8/1 | 31 | 1813 | 10,295,909 | 212 | 206 | | Beloit Turner (0422) | 6/16 to 7/18 | 22 | 481 | 1,468,732 | 30 | 28 | | Benton (0427) | 6/10 to 8/22 | 53 | 107 | 113,940 | 2 | 4 | | Berlin Area (0434) | 7/28 to 8/14 | 12 | 852 | 531,704 | 11 | 13 | | Big Foot UHS (6013) | 6/12 to 7/17 | 22 | 91 | 320,760 | 7 | 6 | | Birchwood (0441) | 6/16 to 8/19 | 45 | 137 | 815,430 | 17 | 15 | | Black Hawk (2240) | 6/6 to 8/21 | 73 | 176 | 504,578 | 10 | 16 | The number of students that participated in Summer School 2014 were down from 2013.
